20 MARCH – 16:00-17:30: Join us on our ATP for a fun-filled hockey training session followed by a friendly mini-tournament led by guest coaches from Alton Hockey Club. No previous experience of hockey necessary, all equipment will be provided. Enjoy refreshments while you watch your child play, join a tour of the school or take the opportunity to chat to senior staff and ask any questions you may have about Eggar's.

24 MARCH – 16:00-17:15: Join us with your Year 6 students to come and enjoy a taste of the clubs we offer at Eggar's with drop-in activities in PE, Science and Art clubs. Get more familiar with our 38 acre site on a tour and take the chance to ask current students and staff any questions you may have.

28 APRIL – 16:00-17:30: Year 6 students, bring along your family and friends and create a team to compete in The Great Eggar's Bridge Building Challenge. Our Design and Technology Team are looking forward to challenging you and your family to design and build a bridge that can withstand the highest weight. Whose bridge will stand firm and whose will buckle under the strain?

Family teams can have between 3 and 6 members. Siblings aged 7 and above are welcome (unfortunately, health and safety dictates no siblings under 7 for this event)
When booking - book 1 ticket for your whole team. Each team must have at least 1 adult.

22 MAY – 18:00-19:00: We warmly invite our Year 6 families to join us for an evening where we consider the many emotions connected to change. Our well planned transition journey aims to make your Year 6 child feel welcomed at Eggar's and totally prepared for walking through the balloon arch in September but there are a range of emotions that they might feel as they prepare to say goodbye to their Primary schools and move on to the next stage of their journey. The event will include a workshop for your Year 6 child led by our ELSA, Tanya Cornaia as well as a workshop for parents and carers led by our Senior Mental Health Lead, Neil Brand. If your child would prefer to stay with you, you are welcome to choose your preferred workshop and stay together.
