DISCOVER POETRY
22 January – 16:00-17:15: (ENGLISH): Discover the magic of writing a brilliant poem with our poetry workshop. This special event in collaboration with the Watercress Line will focus on the theme of travel, taking you on a journey to the past and the golden age of steam railways. What’s more, your poem will be entered into the Winchester Poetry Festival’s Railway 200 competition with the chance to see your work published.
DISCOVER A FRENCH FASHION SHOW
29 January – 16:00-17:15: (MLF): Learn clothes and colours in French, dress up and describe the outfits in French.
DISCOVER MONARCHY CHRONOLOGY & CROWNS
5 February – 16:00-17:15: (HUMANITIES): Discover the chronology of British monarchs and design a fitting crown.
DISCOVER fantastic fractals
12 February – 16:00-17:15: (MATHS): Learn about fractal patterns in Mathematics and create your own Sierpinski triangle.
All students are welcome to arrive from 15:45 for a 16:00 start. We also welcome parents to return at 17:15 to enjoy some refreshments and share what their child has discovered. Additionally, we encourage parents to request a tour of our school when they drop their child off, or return to pick them up.
