Your privacy and the privacy of our school members is important to us and we want to be sure you know how any information we gather from you is obtained and used. Unless specifically requested on a web form, Eggar’s does not collect information which can personally identify you. If you do provide information to us on a web form you are granting us permission to use the information in the way expressed on the form. You may request to see the information we hold about you under the data protection act but please know that we have no information if you do not have a logon to the website.
You should know when you access webpages on the school website(s) your browser sends our server information about your computer. The information we gather is to help us improve the website and ensure we test it in the correct way. The information we gather cannot identify you and provides us only with ‘trend’ information. Soon we will be publishing the information we gather but for the time being this list provides a summary of data collected.

- The size your browser window is set to, e.g. 800×600
- The number of unique visitors
- The popularity of each page
- Roughly where in the world people are visiting from, e.g. Sydney, Australia or Manchester, England
We respect the privacy of the pupils in school and understand if parents/guardians do not wish their childs likeness to be published on the Internet. We keep a register of parental authorisation for use of pupils likeness and adhere to it, however, group or assembly photographs can sometimes include pupils who we do not have permission to show. We kindly request the parents of these pupils let us know as soon as they can so we can ensure the photograph is replaced.
